Directions to American River Resort Via Interstate 5 Get on Interstate 5 and travel to Sacramento Connect with Highway 50 East, Lake Tahoe/Placerville Proceed to Placerville TURN LEFT (north, 2nd stop light) on Spring Street, State Hwy 49 Continue about 11 miles when you get to the country store, Sutter Center The next road on the right will be Coloma Heights Rd/New River Rd TURN RIGHT continue about a block the road will “Y” stay left The road will end at: American River Resort, 6019 New River Road, Coloma, CA 95613 Check in at the resort office…… If you get lost CALL 530-642-0611.… We will come and get you. We have a no rafter left behind policy……. Directions to American River Resort (via Interstate 80) 6019 New River Rd, Coloma, CA 95613 on Interstate 80 from the Roseville area, proceed EAST to ELM STREET/Auburn, Exit Elm St. TURN LEFT onto Elm. Proceed to High St. (the next traffic light) TURN LEFT onto High St (HWY 49) follow High St as it bends around to the right and goes under the train trestle, go THRU the traffic light and down into the canyon, at the bridge TURN RIGHT continue on hwy 49.……. 14 miles Proceed thru COOL (the stop sign) Thru Pilot Hill (no stop sign) Past Venezio Vineyards (on your left) Proceed approximately 3 miles thru town To the stop sign at hwy 49 and Lotus Rd Continue on Hwy 49 approximately 1 mile Thru the State Park, Hwy 49 makes an hard right hand turn at the old white school house On that curve is where Coloma Heights Rd/New River Road comes in You can only TURN LEFT proceed on Coloma Heights Rd ‘til you come to the “Y” ( about a block) continue LEFT to the entrance to American River Resort Check in a the resort office……………..
